Dilip has assumed leadership roles in both prominent and emerging companies, notably at JSL-Jain TV Group, a public listed company, and a trailblazer in the Indian broadcasting industry. As a pivotal team member, Dilip played a crucial role in the establishment and revitalization of Jain TV Group, overseeing its expansion across key sectors of broadcasting and related segments. His responsibilities included overseeing Studios, Production, 24×7 channel broadcasting, Media Training, uplinking, downlinking services at teleport and immensely contributed to the development of India’s pioneering digital distribution system HITS.
Dilip spearheaded the successful integration of online news broadcast through the simulcast of Jain TV on satellite and internet platforms, accessible via web and mobile applications. This initiative was aimed at delivering live news content seamlessly to multiscreen: TV, online, and mobile users. Furthermore, Dilip is credited with building India’s first-ever multilevel extensive network of video news stringers and entrepreneurs at the local, regional, and national levels.
With expertise in strategic planning, execution, mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration, his experience spans the entire spectrum of start-ups, from initial planning and investor induction to setup, execution, efficient operational management, and achieving operational break-even and profitability.
